Waterproof

Today, I’m glad that skin is waterproof. I wore galoshes and a rain coat, and carried an umbrella, but my legs still got wet. However, I prefer wet skin to wet fabric. It dries more quickly.

Shirt, Christopher & Banks (thrifted). Skirt, Herman Geist (thrifted and shortened). Everything else, thrifted and unlabeled.

  4. Really love the skirt! Do you shorten your own things, Kasmira, or do you take them to a tailor?

  6. Rose - I've shortened everything myself, except for a pair of jeans and my Trashy Diva dress. Before my sewing machine broke, I used it for the stitching. Now, I do a blind hem stitch by hand. It takes a while (especially with a full skirt), but I just watch trashy tv while I do it.
