Flannel and Suede

Today’s high was 81 degrees. Not quite flannel and suede weather, but I could pretend it was when I stood in the shade.

Cardigan, Rodarte for Target. Tunic (worn as a shirt), Forever 21. Skirt, Ann Taylor (thrifted). Boots, Lauren Ralph Lauren. Sunglasses, Meow Meow. Bag, Clark’s. Rings, Black Hills Gold and Raffia & Bossa.

I may have been a wee bit sweaty in my autumn fabrics, but at least I wasn't wearing a fur coat!

Two Buttons, One Hood

The construction of this poncho is ingenious. It’s just a rectangular scarf, with two buttons and a hood. I love the simplicity of its design.

Poncho, Aziza. Skirt, London Times. Leggings, We Love Colors. Boots, Vince Camuto. Sunglasses, Girlprops. Earrings, Epcot Mexico.

Feeling Fally

I’m known for my tunefulness; I’m always singing something. Problem is, I usually don’t know the words and either repeat the same portion of the chorus over and over or make up my own lyrics. “Feeling Groovy” has been on my playlist, lately. It’s the perfect song for inserting your own lyrics. (Also on never ending repeat: “Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel” sung as “Puppy Puppy Puppy.”)

Jacket, London Times. Dress, Ella Moss. Shoes, BCBGeneration. Pendant, thrifted. Bag, Clark’s.

And . . .

“Puppy, puppy, puppy, no puppies on the bed.
Puppy, puppy, puppy, if dad finds out we’re dead!”
