Does this outfit look familiar? It’s similar to the tartan madness I wore for my Bus Bundling post. I’m wearing the same dress and jacket, but ditched the plaid pumps and purse. Do you really think I’d wear that much plaid at once?
Plaidtastic goodness
But back to today’s outfit…
I actually wore the jacket buttoned, as pictured below. (I just wanted to show off the dress a little in the lead picture.) I also carried my mustard yellow bag.
you did an outfit with this dress and a wide yellow belt a few weeks ago and i wasn't loving the pop of yellow--- but as a BAG i love the mustard- bravo!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty dress, and I love the lace underneath. Also loving the mustard yellow.
ReplyDeleteStill making me feel like a wimp for not wearing skirts/dresses with tights. This morning I even put long johns on under my courderoy pants. Before the week is over, I'm doing it, by God!
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit, but you soooo should've worn the plaid shoes! I love plaid, check it:

I prefer your plaid.
As good as the tartan dress looks on a background of black and lace, you should have worn all plaid just to see your colleagues' reactions, especially if they regularly comment on what you wear!
ReplyDeleteNice outfit. I especially like the lace effect when you buttoned up your jacket.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteI love the combo of blouse under dress under blazer. The black shoes with black tights makes for a sleek silhouette - much better than the plaid shoes, imho!

Love this outfit - the dark tights/shoes/jacket really make the lace and tartan stand out.
ReplyDeleteYou look like a proper Scottish lassie. ;)
I really like this one- and that blazer fits you really well. I covet the well-fitting blazer.
ReplyDeletePlus, the dark tights and matching heels make your legs look very long. I'll have to copy that on a day when the boss isn't it.
