First, I LOVE your blog and can't miss a day. You are a fashion inspiration for me! I love the fishnets - but I have a question. What is your feeling about hose? Black, sheer nude...I know we are not supposed to be wearing them anymore, but I work in a conservative office and going "hoseless" is frowned upon. Easy fix in the winter, but with spring coming...eek! What are your thoughts?
Necklace = Love. Usually my Target is pretty weak on the jewelry front, but I have found a couple of cool things there on occasion. I may have to scope this one, like immediately.
Annabella - in the warmer months, I wear nude fishnets if I don't go barelegged. If the net is fine enough (try Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohl's), then it looks like hose from far away, but much hipper up close.
Angie (of You Look Fab) also has good recommendations on hosiery you can wear instead of the traditional pantyhose: www.youlookfab.com/2008/12/15/flop-proof-micro-fishnet-hose/
OMG we're bosom stocking sisters - I live in nude fishnets in the warmer months and flip into funky purple ones in the Fall and Winter. They're sexy but not as tarty as black, plus they feel WONDERFUL on and last way longer than a pair of nylons.
I've been reading your blog for awhile, and one thing that always stands out is how awesome your hair looks. It's like you can do anything with it. Ever thought of doing a special post about hair-dos?
Hey there - just wanted to say you look gorgeous today - love that dress, and love the clutch! Perfect paired with the fishnets too.
P.S. I linked to your old post on the "Lazy Girl's Updo" today at my blog - I'm trying to get inspired to do more with my hair and thought that was a great tutorial!! =)
Ohhh, I LOVE that necklace! Nice find.

ReplyDeleteThat necklace is so cute. It looks similar to that hot pink one you have, I think also Xhilaration from Target.

Ooh, I love the Mary Janes! My feet always seem to slip out of heels without some sort of strap, probably due to my Jessica-Rabbit-on-crack walk.
ReplyDeleteYou look VERY Sexy!
