More Lucky Love

Cardigan, J Crew (swap). Dress, vintage (shortened and swap). Belt, Body Central. Tights, Merona. Boots, White Mountain. Bag, Target.

Like academichic, I enjoyed the March Lucky’s orange and gray spread. I got this sweater from a swap months ago, but I’ve found it hard to wear. I can’t decide if the main body is gray or beige or just some sort of odd in-between shade. Let’s pretend it’s gray today.

Funny, crazy hair.

  1. Actually against the grey skirt, it looks more beige...but that could also be my computer monitor. Either way, this outfit is really cute. My hair pretty much always looks like yours in that last picture, even when I'm not trying.

im feeling that the cardi is beige. but i live the pairing of the orange-edged cardigan with the orange belt. i think id like to see the same pairing with the belt cinching in the cardi...

Regardless of the cardi's color this combo totally works! I adore orange and gray, but have no orange. I need to add that to my shopping list!

  6. I would have never thought to pair that color skirt with that color top, but I am loving it!! And the orange accents are awesome. This outfit is mega cheerful :)

How funny. I'm in white, gray, and blood orange today, too ... inspired by that selfsame Lucky article!

  8. I think it's a color I call "wheat", which is a good thing! I love it!

  10. I love the grey and orange together. I did grey and green today. The cardigan looks beige to me; a bit blah against the grey for my taste. Your crazy hair is great.

  11. Whoa, whoa Mod Girl! I don't know if this fits Lucky's description of a Mod Girl, but it has a great 60s London vibe.

I love the greay and orange combo but since I see the cardi as a beige/wheat color, I think it would have looked better with brown tights and boots. But I think you can definitely mix orange, brown, and gray!

  14. I LOVE the color combination here. I am always struggling with pairing orange in an outfit. I will definitely be trying out grey and beige with my orange sweaters tomorrow!
