Bodycon looks make me feel more self-conscious than confident. It’s funny how I don’t pause at pairing plaid and houndstooth, but a tight skirt gives me fits.
Sweater, Bloch. Blouse, Romeo + Juliet. Skirt, Express (thrifted). Belt, thrifted. Tights, We Love Colors. Boots, Matisse.
Its funny how we each have our own comfort levels. No one asked me, but I think you look lovely in that outfit. Its actually one of my all time favs. Heck why do all that running if you're not going to show the "fruits of your labor" if you will. Just saying you look marverlous darling.
Oh, I love the houndstooth and plaid together - awesome mix! And you probably know this, but no need to be body-con - you're gorgeous just as you are. :)
anythingreen - I probably won't do a post on my favorite lipsticks because I work for a major cosmetics manufacturer and it would be a conflict of interest.
I can tell you that I'm wearing MAC Russian Red in this photo. It's a great, heavily-pigmented, red.
I just voted "not a fan of pattern-mixing" on a post above, and then saw this and I actually love it. Not convinced about the boots with the ensemble though. But I am assuming red or black boots would have been too matchy-matchy?

ReplyDeletethe plaid and houndstooth just looks perfect together though! I love this outfit. You inspire me to try more pattern mixing myself now.
ReplyDeleteA. You look lovely. Don't let the snug skirt cause you stress! It's a perfect fit, and I love this pattern mix.
ReplyDeleteB. Tech question - I got the latest gen. Canon Powershot, the SD1400 IS. Does this one work with the remote control?
Thank you!

I think the skirt looks great. But, I understand. When I wear tight clothing I can feel out of my element.

ReplyDeleteI love this combination! What a great mix of patterns and fantastic boots.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great combo of pretty/trendy! And the skirt looks fab.
ReplyDeleteYour lipstick here is lovely! Actually all of your lipsticks are lovely. Would you (pretty please??) do a post about your favorite ones? :)
