Dancing Queen

To be honest, I didn’t do any dancing in this dress. I was too busy socializing after the Beefy Muchacho’s (and my) production of The Crucible won multiple awards at the Southwest Region Ohio Community Theatre Association’s annual banquet. I did do a little victory shimmy, though.

Dress and clutch, thrifted vintage. Booties, Sigerson Morrison for Target. Tights, Hue. Earrings, gift from Erica. Sunglasses, Girl Props.

  3. Congratulations on the awards! That's awesome.

Love the dress - takes me right back to 1986.

  4. I have this dress as well! Except it has been turned into a prom zombie, complete with rusty, fly filled abdomen and gutted fake arm in the matching bolero. BUT I must say I do rather like it without guts galore. I too am always a fan of the cobalt booties! I had to get some for myself after seeing you wear them so fabulously

  5. I love how you can take a dress that would look right at home on "thrifters worst 80s finds" and make it look wearable and fun.

  6. Kasmira thank you soooo much for your wonderful comment on my blog... what you said has completely made my day!! And to top it off, you are wearing the most bonkers-tastic 80s dress I've ever seen, you look just amazing my dear! Love the booties and tights too :))) (I'm doing a happy dance today because of you!)

  7. My favorite part of this outfit is how the skirt mimics the peacock feather earrings! Great job!

Wow, gotta say I'm not really loving this. It's veering into bad ice skater costume territory.
