I was totally doing grunge! If you could say I was doing a style at all. I remember wearing a lot of denim skirts and skimpy tank tops near the end of the decade.
I have a dress I made from a knit tube -armholes, neckline, hemming-using a tank top to outline the top part. People always act as if I lost 20 Pounds when I wear it.
That style of skirt is the best! I bought one on a whim from a thrift store last year and it's a wardrobe staple. I keep looking for another that I feel confident won't degrade quickly - still looking... This whole outfit looks fabulous!
How did you miss this look in the 90s? You must have been doing grunge! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat skirt - I have always liked the body-con looks.

ReplyDeleteThat skirt looks great on you! I'm always too self-conscious to wear the body-con skirts. Maybe I just need better undergarments with them.

J - when I tried this one on, I found that the tighter the skit, the better, because it holds you in the way a support undergarment would.
