I actually find watching basketball to be very boring, but I enjoy the people watching, dance and other performances, beer, and RIDING THE LIGHTRAIL! I may have never mentioned that I love public transportation, but have fallen out of the habit in Sacramento, despite living one mile from a lightrail station. I rode it for the first time and was so giddy from the experience that, at the arena, I signed Beefy and I up for a timeshare presentation in Tahoe and convinced him to pose for a silly picture sponsored by a local credit union.
I too am moving to a more limited color palette for my clothes! It's making getting ready so much easier! And it's letting me have fun with accessory and makeup colors.

I'm curious if purple is in your palette and why it why not?
DeletePurple is in my palette, but not as a primary player. I like the darker varieties, and have 3 or 4 tops, but have trouble finding ones that work well with my skin coloring and my other clothes.
ReplyDeleteI used to have a pale purple shirt that went with soooo many things, but I wore it out and haven't been able to find a similar tint. It sort of changed color depending on what I paired it with and seemed to be almost as versatile as white or cream.
I do like dark purple polish on my toes, but only have 2 purple eye shadows I can wear without looking like a zombie. Or that I was in a bar fight.

surprised you think purple looks bad on you.... medium lavender should look great ... just say'in
ReplyDeleteIt just doesn't play well with my coloring. With the right make up though, I can make it work.
