I wasn’t going to buy new yellow shoes when my pair finally died. I was going to move on to new colors, like purple. But this pair was so perfect, and I missed my old yellow shoes so much, that I gave in when I found these mustard pumps at Shoe Carnival. (By the way, that store name cracks me up! Because what could me more fun than a CARNIVAL of SHOES?)
The shoes look stunning but can you wear them all day?

ReplyDeleteFabulous new yellow shoes! Your last ones inspired mine and they are oh so fun to wear. I especially love yellow with purple although its hard for me sometimes since I feel like I'm in my middle school wear (they were the school colors!)

I just wanted to say, I have a pair of yellow and white hidden platform shoes by Delicious, and I LOVE them. They are surprisingly comfortable, look chici, and are affordable. I want a pair of all yellow ones to wear with all the things that I don't want to wear yellow and white with. I really dig yours!
ReplyDeleteK, how do you wear the shoes with no hose/socks/anything?! I have mad blisters on my feet right now from trying to go sockless in my work shoes and have had to rock the Crocs for about 3 weeks now because of it. Hopefully I can be back in my good shoes soon - I miss looking cute! - but I feel like there is some critical fahsion trick I am missing. Maybe it's just 'cause I'm on my feet all day. Any tips? PS - thanks for the rec on We Love Colors! I am salivating over their stuff and can't wait for my paycheck on the 25th!!
ReplyDeleteThe only walking I do in my fancy shoes is to and from the bus stop and then a couple of blocks a day inside the office building. I'm sitting most of the day!
ReplyDeleteTo avoid blisters, I've heard Blister Block recommended by others. I just wear nude fishnets if my shoes are rubbing. From a distance, you can't tell you're wearing hose and they are really comfortable. I'm wearing them here:
