Striped blazer, Forever 21 (via swap). Tank, Merona. Skirt, Eddie Rodriguez. Peeptoes, Bitten. Flower corsage, Newport News. Paillette bracelet (actually a necklace), Body Central. Watch, Raymond Weil. Sunnies, Walgreen’s. Bag, Tommy Hilfiger.
There is something about narrow stripes on a white background that says “carnival barker,” no matter what you do.
Step right up, Ladies and Gentlemen! See the freakishly self-obsessed woman who photographs herself Every Single Day! Sit back and enjoy as she poses for photo after photo. Be amazed at the depths of her Egomania! Watch as she abandons Family, Friends, Career, and Duty to Her Country in favor of the False God of Fashion.
Enough of that nonsense. Let’s get down to the details.
I’m pleased that false flower corsages are making a comeback.
There is something wonderfully girly and whimsical about them.
I was inspired by the latest In Style magazine to wrap one of my necklaces around my wrist as a bracelet.
I like the way it adds a bit more visual impact to my small watch.
This is adorable! Love the red glasses with the red skirt! Who says redheads can't wear red?!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you take criticism in stride. You are a force for good. Don't let the turkeys get you down.
I love your "step right up" routine. I was laughing out loud. That's kind of the way I feel about creating a fashion blog. LOOK AT ME! But I love looking at yours. You have great facial expressions and your photography is good. Thanks for great ideas!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I have a hard time telling what some of the colors are. Is your tank blue and your blazer & shoes gray?
ReplyDeleteEither way, I love this outfit!
Jessi - the tank is definitely navy and the shoes are gray. But I am still unsure of the color of the blazer's stripes! Sometimes they seem to be a very deep blue and sometimes dark gray.
ReplyDeleteI love the red and navy combo. I have a navy and white striped skirt that I wear with a navy top and red shoes.
ReplyDeleteI love your outfits and your blog! Greetings from Norway
ReplyDeleteaww, I love your blog! if you *didn't* photograph yourself every day and give us insight into your awesome style and voice, I'd be so sad.
ReplyDeletethis is really cute - love the flower!
Great flower -- God, I remember those from the '70s!
ReplyDeleteSo super-d-duper cute!!! You look adorable.
