Last week, I dressed to match this purse. I thought I’d try it again, but with a bit more subtlety. The colors aren’t an exact match, and the florals clash a bit, but it seems to work. What do you think? Better outfit this time or no?
The second necklace is from Enve Designs. If you purchase something (I’ve been drooling over the Wicked necklace in the Modern section), you can get 15% off by mentioning this blog in the “add message to seller” box. (The owner tells me that the 15% is refunded after you pay.)
I love the shoes with the bag, I think they look great.
ReplyDeleteI'm not so sure about the silver skirt, I preferred the effect of the brown pants as a backdrop to the bag. The darker colour made the bag more of a highlight. (I guess I'm not subtle?) ;)
That skirt is really pretty but it looks so uncomfortable! I dunno, makes you look stiff. But the outfit is pretty and I still love those shoes.
ReplyDeleteI love both "match the purse" outfits but I think this one is my favorite. The shoe and bag together are genius; if it was the same material it would be dorky/obvious. As is, the combination is more like Carrie's green floral dress/green floral coat in the SATC movie.

P.S. If you're going on vacation, have a great time!
I like this match the purse outfit MUCH better! It is very cute and I really like the green and peach.
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are sheer genius. I love when you wear them and that bag is great. It never occurred to me that the florals clashed. It looks like they are supposed to do that. I really like the green in both of the outfits, although the green ruffles really match the femininity of bag and shoes. I, too, prefer the slacks, and I think that, perhaps, combining the slacks with the green, ruffled shirt with the pink cardigan would look pretty. Or maybe white or cream slacks. Don't you want my COMPLETE opinion? I love the look on your face in the pic. It says, "you must love me and my bag. please do so."
ReplyDeleteI like both, but I think I like the pizazz of the last one. Those orange shoes take it to a new level.
ReplyDeleteI loved how the orange shoes with last week's outfit really made the orange on the purse pop, but I like this look better. The floral shoes really set the purse off to perfection. I agree with Kim above, the florals shouldn't match. That would make it too matchy-matchy, like curtains and a couch in my great aunt's house! This is much more eclectic. Lovely
ReplyDeleteI really love this combination Kasmira. This will probably be in "my top ten" outfits you have pulled together. The accessories are subtle and they look beautiful together. I don't feel as though they were used to say "hey look at my accessories"...they blend well.
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks lovely today as well. ...and love the matching tree in the background....so perfect.
:)
Enjoy your time away.
This outfit is much better mainly due to the absence of those orange shoes. You look very classy and elegant today.
ReplyDeleteI think the florals work really well together because one has a white background and the other is colored, as if they are positive & negative of the same image. I like both outfits, although last week's was a little more cheeky because you took some risks with it, which I thought was great.
ReplyDeleteI love them both, though in all honesty, I prefer this one.
ReplyDeleteYes, I like this one the best. Those shoes are perfect with that bag. However, I have a few more ideas, based on clothes I have seen on your site:
ReplyDeleteYou should try the purse and shoes with the pink tank from this post:

and this green skirt:

with this brown blazer:

(although, not being able to see them up close, I don't know how the fabrics would work together.)
OR this whole outfit:

or THIS whole outfit:

or maybe do something with this scarf:

(Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.)
I like this outfit better, but not a fan of the skirt and how it fits, but super cute otherwise!!!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog. You are such an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the next post!
You look very `50's and `60's in this outfit and look very sexy too!
