The writer of Some Girls Wander (I think her name is Emily) has a closet full of clothing from Anthropologie. She wore the charcoal version of this sweater in early October and mentioned that it was currently on sale. I immediately logged onto the Anthro website and bought it for myself. While I was there, I also bought the mushroom ring as a birthday present for myself. It killed me to wait until after my birthday to wear it.
P.S. I wore this tank, skirt, and boots together last January.
Hi! That sweater of yours is so sweet! It is always fun to visit your blog and see what you have come up with.
ReplyDeleteThe shadow in that first picture makes your boob look kinda weird. LOVE the sweater, though! Love the whole outfit, but just esp. the sweater.
ReplyDeleteHuh, didn't even notice the boob shadow! I think it is due to the reflection of the flash from the mirror. Or my boob is just deformed.
ReplyDeletei love that sweater!
ReplyDeletebut i think the outfit worked better for me with the splash of cranberry to break up all the blue (either that, or maybe im craving a splash of cranberry, seeing how its friday + i love some vodka-cran!)
i think i might hafta log onto the site + have a look at their sale items now!
Did you alter that plaid skirt by pinning it to get the pleats? I have a similar style/length skirt that I've always felt was a little too "teacher." Maybe I could revitalize it by pinning it up on one side. Any advice?
ReplyDeleteThat mushroom ring is soo adorable
ReplyDeleteI love the colors in that skirt and that mushroom ring is adorable! Even though it is probably a million times more expensive, how amazing would it be with this discounted WendyB mushroom necklace?

You look like a highland lass -- too cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the skirt! In fact, I have one just like it! I went and checked my closet...just to make sure it was the same skirt. Blackwatch is one of my favorite tartans. Very classy look.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of mushrooms, but that ring is pretty darn cute. I'm so excited for the plaid/tartan trend coming back. The skirt looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteI discovered Anthropologie on my recent visit to the states and I am so jealous we don't have it here in Australia! I could have spent the whole day and a complete fortune in there.
ReplyDeleteYou combo here is FANTASTIC. I adore every piece of what you have put together and the silhouette is marvelous!
That cardi is so cute! Love the boots too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous birthday present. ;) Anthro is my favorite store, I watch their sale section like a hawk...
