I love this dress. It has such a fun shape and pretty embroidery. And it cost only 500 yen. (Less than $5 at the exchange rate few years ago.) Here’s how I’ve worn it (and not nearly enough!):
I’m going to try it with a sheer blouse beneath more often. I think my Bebe blouse creation would look great layered underneath.
It is a great dress and the perfect length too.
ReplyDeleteI looked back at the other posts with this dress and it seems like you wear it a lot in November! It's so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI have my eye on a sweaterdress as we speak. And not just yours.
Does the shirt underneath make the dress look lumpy? I would like to layer more things, but I usually think my outfit looks lumpy and take it off.
ReplyDeleteA very thin or very fitted shirt doesn't look lumpy underneath. A crisp oxford shirt or chunky sweater would definitely show through the dress' thin knit.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely dress. I think this is the best way you have worn it yet, although I also think that the standing on the toilet outfit was really nice too. It looks great with the sweater, fishnets and those maryjanes!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I think this is the best way you've worn this dress (tho the pink shrug is a close second fave for me)...and I just got such a kick out of the bathroom photo, lol! Honestly, only you could manage to look absolutely stunning while standing on a toilet -- bravo!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous outfit! The color of the shirt is awesome on you!
ReplyDeleteI like it. I can't wait to see the Bebe blouse!
ReplyDeleteYup this is my fav among all too. I love it when you pair a dark outfit with a bright top/shoes. It's very YOU :)
ReplyDeleteI'm really glad I'm not the only person who stands on her toilet to take pictures of herself in the mirror! I love the sweater dress- it's charming on you, and the embroidery at the bottom is very eyecatching.
