Beefy picked today’s lead photo. I blame him if I look like I have no neck.
Blouse, Romeo & Juliet Couture. Skirt, Talbots. Belt, Xhilaration. Shoes, Wet Seal. Bracelets, Hot Topic.
Speaking of drugs, I grow catnip, inside a cage, just outside the sunroom. (You can see it in yesterday’s photos, at the lower left.) I snapped off a piece for my kittens this morning.
My blurry, furry babies.
Common sense says this outfit should not work...but it absolutely does. Nice!
ReplyDeleteI love the top with the skirt. To soooo works! Oh, and I love the kitties, too. :)
ReplyDeleteWorks perfect just as black does with white.
ReplyDeleteSeems like Beefy is your style assistant, hes got the same job as my husband.
I think the top and skirt work together in that definitive and wonderful Kasmira way, but I am not crazy about the shoes. They take away from the boldness of the top, if that makes any sense!
ReplyDeleteIf you look at all your patterns, though, you really only have 3 dominant colours: white, red and black. The eye can handle three colours, but more than that and it's too much. I love this look!
ReplyDeleteAw, your kitties are lovely. And you have an Inigo tuxedo cat!
Love the shoes ! I have some purple plaid pumps that I got from Charlotte Russe.
ReplyDeleteI ADORE the mix, but I am a plaidaholic. Gorgeous.

What a stunning outfit - what made you try it? I need guidance as well as inspiration!
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, all your kitties look gorgeous, but I love a pure gray cat. Lovely.
So I followed a link on your blog to the 15 Dollar Store, and now I have seven lovely new items in my wardrobe. Thank you! -- And also, you rock each and every one of these looks. You go, girl!
ReplyDeleteYour top is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteToo much for me. Oh well. Differences are what makes the world go round.
ReplyDeleteA-Dubs - I knew I wanted to wear the blouse and, as I was rooting through my skirts, I found this one and thought it would be a great combo. I think the trick is just to keep an open mind.
ReplyDeleteA bold and beautiful mix of patterns, as always!
ReplyDeleteThe patterns mix nicely. I didn't blink either. Then again I used to mix patterns like crazy as a kid. It was the 80s, after all.
ReplyDeleteTop + Skirt = Love of my life!
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome outfit!! Love it!

ReplyDeleteoh hello gorrrrrgeous. this pattern mix is outstanding! you are an inspiration... I love how both the top and bottom have black and white, and then the rest of the colors in the plaid and the fierce floral pattern takes it to another level.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, LOVE this combo! I especially love the matching shoes. I so adore your sense of style and fashion - this outfit is definitely one of my favs!
ReplyDeleteYou're a lightning rod for fashion controversy. Front page of cincinnati.com: "Is she mixing her outfits too much?(9:11 am)"
ReplyDeleteI knew they had to be talking about you.
(my answer would be "NO" btw)
Of Course this crazy ass chick has 12 cats!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this combo.
ReplyDeleteIf not for partners or babies (furry or two-legged), who would we blame? Perhaps our staff. LOVE the outfit.
ReplyDelete...Pam
PS He got the photo all wrong, but Beefy was right about the belt.
ReplyDeleteLove your dress sense! Love your blog, as a fellow cat lover myself (I have 10!), I was just drawn to your blog :)
ReplyDeleteYou are a pattern mixing genius!! I love this outfit. I think it's my new favorite!
