Plaidanimal

If I had to pick a favorite pattern mix, it might be animal + plaid.

Blouse, FY2 (thrifted). Dress, Bitten (shortened). Shoes, Libby Edelman. Earrings and necklaces, vintage. Ring, Raffia & Bossa.

I’ve mixed plaid and animal a few times before:

That was just the warm-up. I’ve got even more plaid and animal pieces to mix in the upcoming months!

  1. I'm totally rocking plaid and leopard print today... and a floral! This outfit makes me think of you, actually heh.

  2. Your outfits are so creative! The darker colors in this look make it so "fall"!

  3. Ahhh! I love this combination too. (I love anything with plaid, so add in a little animal print and it's just so.much.more.) I think you and Mis Papelicos do it best! Did you see this outfit of hers? http://www.mispapelicos.com/2011/09/tartan-jungle.html

I'm remembering both of yours for future inspiration!

  6. Your black watch plaid skirt and leopard print skirt combo is the reason why I started to regularly follow your blog. I have not worked this look yet but I do mix the black watch plaid skirt with a mustard cardigan from J.Crew. I get lots of interesting looks when I wear this at my very conservative workplace.
