The hoodie outfits:
From the evidence, you can see I like to wear hoodies with dresses and skirts, under jackets and blazers, over buttonfront shirts, and while I ride my bike. Do hoodies have a place in your wardrobe?
Our apartment doesn't have heat, not really anyway, so I spend a lot of the year in hoodies. I love hoodies with dresses, but hoodies with jeans can make me feel kind of sloppy. ModCloth has one with lace I've been meaning to DIY....
ReplyDeleteI love your hoodie outfits- the Mickey hoodie is my favorite, I think. And those Vince Camuto boots are to die for! Awesome. :-)
I love wearing a casual hoodie over a dress or skirt--I'm in an ultra-casual environment right now and it helps to dress down even just a basic fit-and-flare knit dress.
ReplyDeleteI "borrowed" an old navy hoodie from my teenaged son, my favorite Color, olive drab. It has some small tears that somehow add to its kind of artsy look. Plan to try with various earthy colors for fall and hoping that he does not find and re-claim it. It is somewhat long and slimming, I feel.
ReplyDeleteIn the winter, I have a couple of hoodies for around the house and one for over my jammies when I sleep. I never wear hoodies in public, though.
ReplyDeleteI used to love hoodies when I was younger...now I don't at all. I guess I've grown out of them. Funny how much our style preferences change over the years, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI have actually proclaimed this fall "hoodie free fall". I've noticed there are a lot more "cute" sweatshirt options out there this season so I'm going to make an effort to go in that direction. That said, being a NorCal girl and having gone to college at Chico State, my hoodie collection is the envy of all my friends. ;)
ReplyDeleteI own two hoodies. One is purple fuzzy and about six sizes too big. One is red velour and is a good fit. I hate both of them and only wear them when I'm sick.
ReplyDeleteI always wear a hoodie at home.... lots of thermo-regulation opportunities... also- for swim season, every hoodie is a cover-up skirt if you zip it AND tie it around your waist! Being drawn to dullness, I like the gray of a hoodie with a colorful tee underneath.
ReplyDeleteYou make anything look fashionable! Love it.
