Style Chain

I was enamored by Jessica’s recent mix of a gray sweatshirt and blue gingham oxford shirt. I copied the look at my first opportunity.

Sweatshirt, Old Navy (thrifted and altered). Shirt, American Eagle (thrifted). Jeans, Dollhouse (overdyed). Boots, Dan Post. Earrings, vintage. Bracelet, swap. Bag, Lewis (vintage and thrifted)

I really love this casual look, the blue really brings your eyes out and the earrings are super cute. Also love the bracelet. I worry about clutches, I think they look great, but I am so forgetful I just KNOW i will leave mine somewhere.

Happy Holidays,

The boots and collared shirt are a great way to make this casual outfit super pulled together and chic =)

what did you alter on the sweatshirt..the sleeves?

Also..... this outfit makes me have a girlcrush on you. :)

C Lo - yes, I did very fancy alterations...I cut the ribbing off the sleeves so I could roll them into loose cuffs.

I am so doing that to my Old Navy gray sweatshirt (maybe I will actually start wearing again)! Thanks for the inspiration! I also own a similar shirt. ;)

I bought a grey hoodie today just so I could roll up the sleeves and attempt to look as cool as you. Love the styling you did here! Thanks for the inspiration!
