J's Style

I’m an everyday reader of J’s Everyday Fashion, although 90% of her outfits are a bit tame for my taste. I would venture to say that 90% of my outfits are too crazy for hers. In the Venn diagram of our styles, there is a point where they intersect and this outfit is a perfect example of something we’d both (I assume . . . I didn’t ask her) wear.

Prison Break

It looks like I’m posing outside a prison, but that’s not the case. I’m actually outside an indoor skate park, in front of a dump, and near a hobo campground. I only choose the classiest locations. (Although I do with I could skateboard and take advantage of the park.)

As Expected

At first, I thought this outfit with its mishmash of patterns and colors was kind of crazy. Then, I realized that people wouldn’t expect anything else from me.

Cubist Landscape

I don’t know who painted this mural on S Street (between 18th and 19th, along the light rail tracks) or what is named or if it is even sanctioned art. I’m left to make up my own title for it, so I call it the Cubist Landscape. What would you call it?

Dress Shorts

So, I say these are fancy shorts. Beefy thinks they are pajama shorts. Which is totally ridiculous. The crochet overlay would become hopelessly crumpled if one slept in them. Instead, I pair them with heels and wear them to a nice Italian restaurant.
