Green Olive Black Olive

My preferred flavors are bitter and salty, so olives are a favorite. I grew up eating the black olives out of a can. I’d pop one on each finger, wiggle the shiny, black orbs, and then eat them one by one. My mother told me the green ones were nasty. Turns out I like the green ones. And the stuffed ones. And the purple ones. And the wrinkly ones. I like them all. (Well, I don’t like the cheese stuffed ones. Especially when they are packed in oil.)
