In search of a little outfit inspiration, this morning, I searched my archives to see what I had worn on April 8 in past years. I had to go all they way back to 2008 to find an entry that included a clothing item I still own: this floral velvet skirt.


Jacket, Mossimo. Tee, American Apparel. Skirt, Herman Geist (thrifted and shortened). Shoes, Kelly and Katie. Earrings, Francesca’s Collections. Sunglasses, Target. Bag, Imoshion.


April 8, 2015 and 2008:


I still have the earrings and the shoes, too.
But the earrings are extremely heavy and it was too cold for sandals.
