Because I can’t call anything by its proper name, I refer to our club as Master Blasters. The nickname makes me think of Transformers, boomboxes, and explosions. Our meeting wasn’t quite that exciting, but energizing, nonetheless.

New dress! I love the vibrant colour and the fit - great swooshy hemline. I enjoyed Toastmasters for the time I did it, but I don't do well with organized meetings. I end up running them! It's a good thing for others (because I run things really well), but bad for me (because it stops being fun). I've stopped belonging to clubs. Well, except for Book Club (which I run, but also enjoy).
Master Blaster makes me think of "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome."
