No one blinked an eye in sacramento, but I'm currently in a very small town east of the Sierra and getting long stares.
I love it! I had my hair dyed in "fun" colors for years in the West Village of NYC. No one was phased, save to compliment me when I switched colors. It took me by surprise when I moved to PA and got the long stares. Have fun with it!
