Stumpy Cowgirl

Brown sweater, Express. Turquoise tunic, Ann Taylor? Denim skirt, Gap. Boot, Playhouse. Brown belt with rhinestone buckle. Earrings, Delia*s.

This is not my favorite outfit. I wore it all day, to see if I liked it better with time, but I didn’t. The problem is the proportions. I have a short torso and long legs. I try to correct this by wearing long tops over lean bottoms. Here, the long top over the A-line skirt just makes me look like I have a huge, bottom-heavy torso and short, stumpy legs. I look fine from the side, but extremely pear-shaped from every other angle.

I have that Express sweater in grey... Do you find the collar awkward? I can't ever decide how far down I want to fold it. Even if I do pull the collar down all the way, it's a guarantee that it will slide up to a Cruella Deville collar at some point in the day.

I guess the collar does creep up, but I never mind because my neck is usually cold!

Don't be so hard on yourself cause you look fine. I like the denim skirt & cowboy boots. ;-)
