Cooler

Paisley wrap, Images (gift from Londyn). Top, Ann Taylor Loft. Skirt, Eddie Rodriguez. Floral pumps, Miss Me. Bag, Franco Sarto. Necklace, Enve Designs. Earrings, thrifted. Sunnies, free from the Camp Foster uniform shop.

After some intense storms last night, it is much cooler today. Cool enough to warrant a wrap this morning. As my office is always freezing, regardless of the weather outside, I continued to wear it for the work day. It came in handy once more for the frigid bus ride home. I love wrapping myself in this sumptuous “blanky.” It’s perfect for a nap on the way home.

That is one of those things that will be top of my list when I can start buying again as I am always cold - a big, cosy blanket style wrap.
The ones I normally see are too flimsy.

I just adore wraps... I probably own too many but I love the ones that double nicely as a scarf. Love the look!

Lovely!

How often do you wear pants Kasmira?

I wear pants to work about twice a month. In the coldest months, I might wear them 6 - 8 times a month. Summer, though, is all about skirts and dresses!

I'm delurking myself right now -- I've read your blog for a week or two, and I love it. You have such great style!

I live in Chicago, and I have discovered that my beloved wraps (scored some nice wool ones at TJ Maxx and Marshalls as well as Clothes Mentor for pennies) work well as scarves/mufflers with my winter coats.

The wind here can be horrendous, and I can wear the wrap over my head while still having it tucked securely in my jacket and around my neck. I tend to layer light wool or cashmere cardis over tees in the winter and wear scarves and gloves and a lighter coat. I also look better with short hair, so the scarves are nice to cover my neck and ears in the cold.

I'm warm blooded and have hot flashes, so I don't like heavy coats. I get so many compliments when I wear my wrap like you did in this post. I'm 32, so even younger women can pull off this look.
