Cuckoo for Peacock

Although Beefy says that peacocks are dirty, nasty, mean birds (he was attacked at the zoo), I can’t help thinking they’re beautiful. The intense combination of blue and green plumage has inspired more than one of my outfits.

Jacket, London Jeans. Dress, London Times. Belt, Forever 21. Earrings, Ali’s Boutique. Bag, Simply Vera.

I completely understand your choice to draw inspiration from peacocks. I love doing the same.

That green jacket is a fantastic piece!

I agree, I think they're one of the most beautiful birds. I adore all of your green and blue outfits! Those are two of my favorite colors and I simply don't own enough items in those colors to make me happy!

I cracked up when I saw your picture of Kum & Go- we have them here too. One of our games is to come up with new names for it, with appropriate (well, not appropriate, per say..) euphemisms.... (F*** and Fly, etc- I could keep going, we have quite the list)

If you're ever in Arkansas again, let me know! I'll totally come visit and show you some good shopping!! I'm only about half an hour from the MO/AR border!

There's a local park here that has about a dozen peacocks - on a clear night you can hear them calling, "Hey Al! Hey Al!" I've always liked them, but all birds can be creepy (they're flying dinosaurs!).

Love the blue/green combo - just lovely on you.

I'm surprised you didn't get the peacock print from the Liberty of London collaboration with Target. I think it was the best of the bunch! =)
