Cheer

It was a thoroughly cheerless morning: gray and drizzly. I brought my own cheer with bright colors and zany pattern mixing.

Sweater and bag, H&M. Dress, swapped and shortened. Pumps, Colin Stuart. Bracelets, Target, Claire’s and thrifted.

I was feeling REALLY cheery once I got out of the rain and settled into my office with a raspberry-filled donut and strong coffee. Cheerful, inside and out.

The bright green really rings my bell. Love the floral with the bold black and white stripes!

I really like that pattern mix. Mixing is not normally my thing, but this works great!

Love this Jacket. I only seem to find H &M and F21 stuff I like at thrift or consignment shops. But yours is Awesome. Love the colors!

You just have such a good eye for mixing patterns, Kasmira. I love this look! And I hate this dreary weather!

I'm new to your blog, and I love it! I'm living in Bangkok, although not for much longer, and the shopping here is INSANE unlike lots of places where clothes are cheap, the ones here are gorgeous, generally well made and there are LOADS of choices.
Your pictures and clothing choices are inspiring in themselves, but it was a post of yours about how this blog had changed your life that really struck a chord; that doing this had really loosened you up in terms of how you perceive your own as well as other people's wardrobe concoctions. I really love the idea of letting your inner freak flag fly and having enough confidence not to feel constrained by the main-stream - when my husband and I stop backpacking (one factor seriously limiting my wardrobe is that I have to lug it around on my back) - I would like to take a leaf out of your book. And go crazy!

What a great outfit! I love florals and stripes together, and those lime pumps of yours are quickly becoming one of my favorite pieces!
