Happy Birdday

Beefy’s birthday was a birding extravaganza. We started the day with sunrise donuts at the American River among various waterfowl. I then headed to swim practice and he returned to the river to take pictures (trying to identify a mystery duck!). After lunch, we went to Cosumnes and then Yolo for more bird fun.

Jacket and tunic, Mossimo. Leggings, We Love Colors. Boots, Dan Post. Sunglasses, Girl Props. Earrings, No Boundaries. Bag, Nine West.

The birding highlight was perhaps the giant flock of pelicans we spotted at Cosumnes. We also saw other new-to-us species like the yellow-rumped warbler (also known as the “butterbutt”), pintails, and the red-winged blackbird.

KK, I was thinking about all the clothes you have and wondered if you have ever blogged about how you care for them.
I do not like to buy anything that has to be dry cleaned and wondered if you felt the same way. Do you wear the clothes more than once before washing? especially the ones that are next to your body? I am sure you wear the other ones more than once.
Does Beefy help you wash? Haha! I know my husband never helped with my clothes.

That sounds very relaxing and chill. Happy birdday, Beefy!

There are so many red-winged blackbirds up here in the marshy areas - I love hearing their call.

OK Thanks, I kinda figured you had written a blog about it and I agree with everything you said. My husband used to want me to use TIDE with everything but Tide is hard on your clothes c
I just use whatever liquid soap that is on sale and it seems to work fine.
You are one smart lady and I admire you a lot.
