Dress, Suzi Chin for Maggy Boutique. Shoes, Franco Sarto. Sunglasses, Girl Props. Earrings, Claire’s. Bracelets, Epcot Morocco nd Deb.
I love the asymmetrical cut, hourglass shape, and clever ruching (created with snaps!) The top is much too big though. (The excess fabric is mostly visible in the back.) Inspired by Sal’s recent tailoring post, I’m going to have the back taken in at the waist. Considering I bought this dress for less than 10% of its retail price, it’ll still be a steal after tailoring costs.

I forgot to add on your last post that I love your wedding rings! Yours and Beefy's both.
Was that a cheesy pickup line? Stealing his heart?
This is a fabulous dress!
WAAAAY awesome look on you. That ruching is fantastic.
I really like it!
I love it when I can get to warehouse sales.
A couple of years ago I got an invite for Mexx warehouse sale. I managed to get three skirts for 15 euros instead of the 180 they should have been in the shops, and then spent 50 euros getting them tailored to fit (one was already fine, the other two they only had in a size bigger than mine). That and the other bargains I picked up that day make me want to go back - but the invites are just so hard to come by!
And even better, the skirts I had altered fit me better than they would if I had bought them from the shop at full price!
Amazing dress BTW :)

Really cute dress- interesting style but "plain" enough color wise to do loads with it!
Nice dress and great price! I love finds like that.
Thanks for the close up of the wedding band too - very nice! Are you planning on wearing your engagement rings with it? Or on other fingers now?
~J
I will alternate rings on that finger. But I'm wearing just the wedding band for the first few weeks, as I share the news with my customers and acquaintances.
Ooh, what consignment shop in Woodland? My Sister's Closet?
Yes! My Sister's Closet! Love that place!
