Proximity Purchase

My days of lazily flipping through the thrift store rails and even distractedly browsing online are on hold. Forget the mall. Who has time to deal with the traffic, the parking, the crowds, and the long walk from one end to another? These days, I get my shopping in at or next to my customers.

Boheme is a second-hand shop located next to one of my Davis salons. It has tempted me for months, and I finally gave in last Saturday. I walked out with this silk, Talbot's dress for a song.

I've got this opportunity shopping thing down.

Dress, Talbot’s (thrifted). Belt, Express. Shoes, BCBGeneration. Earrings, vntage. Bag, Melie Bianco.

The top of the dress is kind of 90’s-awful, but that’s easily concealed with a wrap.

There is nothing bad about that dress! It is adorable and looks great on you! It seems like you are adapting to California life quite nicely! I must say though, I miss your cat pictures!

If you change the button on the top half, then I bet it will look much better :)

I love opportunity shopping! I think the dress looks nice too, but I'm looking forward to seeing the ways you spice up the top of it.

although i do think the top part could get a small "fix".
