Wash Me

If this dress were a car, someone would have traced “WASH ME” into the dirt on the back window by now. I wore it all day Monday (including travel from Sacramento to LA and a cocktail hour). I wore it Tuesday evening to Universal Studios. And I slept in it Monday and Tuesday nights. (Sleeping in my clothes is one of my greatest vices.)

On Saturday morning, I gave it the sniff test and decided I could get one more wear out of it.


Shirt, Express (thrifted). Dress, Roundy Bay (thrifted). Shoes, Lela Rose for Target. Hat, Charming Charlie. Sunglasses, Target. Bag, Nine West.


Later, I ditched the hat and shirt, changed the wedges for Teva sandals, and splashed around in the American River with Jasper. Finally, the dress was filthy enough to wash.
