Full-On Monet

I thought this dress was covered in an abstract print until I saw these pictures. Now I see that the “random splotches” are actually a houndstooth pattern. It’s like, totally, a Monet.

Dress, Banana Republic (consignment). Shoes, Prabal Gurung for Target. Sunglasses, Girlprops. Necklace, World Market. Bag, Charming Charlie. Rings, vintage, heirloom, gift, and/or thrifted.

That's a lovely dress - great colour on you. BR always has good quality clothes, and it's always nice to find them on consignment!

What a cool backdrop - all those columns are so neat-looking.

Great outfit, but Monet's art wasn't abstract. He was one of the leading Impressionists. Yes, I'm being picky, but I do know a thing or two about Monet.

Exactly! Up close, the impressionist paintings look like random blobs of color. Once you back up, the image emerges.

I love a good Clueless reference.

I've been following your blog for a while and it's been so fun and inspiring. But the past few months have gone to another level. So amazing and gorgeous! Cheers! Susiebelle

The dress is pretty, but you distracted me with your gorgeous pictures of "Under the Overpass". :o)
