Blueper

I’m not showing you the bloopers in today’s photo shoot, but, as in every session that involves jumping, there were a few. Inevitably, I capture awkward squats, crazy eyes, and revealing skirt movement.

Uncovered

On Tuesday, one of my salon owners pointed out that I needed my roots done. So, I wore a hat on Wednesday and Thursday until I got my hair colored this afternoon. (As if I need an excuse to wear a hat on such a sunny, hot day. Even after my hair appointment, I held the hat over my head to shade myself but not smash my fresh ‘do.)

Thankfully, it was a shady walk to Shine to get a Moroccan mint iced tea and ogle the brew selection. I want to come back here with Beefy for an alcoholic beverage or two.

Bail

These shoes have been riding around in my trunk since last August. I kept meaning to take them to the shoe repair. Finally, after cleaning out my car earlier this month, I moved the shoes to the backseat and made the stop to get the heel taps replaced. They are out on bail!

Laceless

My shoelaces are always coming untied. I didn’t give them a chance to misbehave, today, yanking them from these oxfords even before their first wearing. Maybe I need those curly laces for kids who don’t know how to knot.
