Sweaty Sunday - 10 miles (fourth time)

Anyone sick of 10-mile runs, yet? I certainly am. Thankfully, I only have one more on my training schedule.

I’ve listened to all the music on my ipod way too many times. I’m combating boredom by borrowing new music from the library and begging for mix CDs from my friends.

Anyone out there have running music suggestions?

I like the song "More" by Usher - the Joker Remix. And "If I Had You" by Adam Lambert.

And Duran Duran, so I can relive my youth... ;)

Today is Lundi Gras and tomorrow is Mardi Gras you could add some music to celebrate the holiday. Here's a good list for you, http://www.mardigrasdigest.com/Media/Digest_Top40.htm. The only bad suggestion is #11 Iko Iko by the Dixie Cups, (lame and horrible), go with Dr. John's version.

Not sure what kind of music you're into but DJ sets are always good. They're A. long, B. have good transitions.

I can upload some to media fire for you. I have at least 3 made by a friend of my husband's.

I like to download the NPR tiny desk concerts to my iPod. The Tallest Man on Earth, The Avett Brothers, and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros are a few of my faves. Good luck :)

I don't know if you're into hip hop at all, but my favorite running music right now is Girl Talk...you can get his album here for free:

Anything from Phoenix or the Metric are good to run to.

I seriously can't jump for a picture. Why don't I have lift-off? Hmmm.

I would recommend Lady Gaga (all), Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation, Prince Purple Rain, any and all of Rush (who me? Eclectic?), Judas Priest British Steel, Ted Nugent Double Live Gonzo, maybe Pink Floyd Meddle (‘one of these days’ has an incredible increasing intensity) and M recommends the dance music you can download for free on Amazon.

I have to listen to dance music that makes me laugh.
Air force Ones- Nellie
Bhangra! By nature any should be good dance music. Soda Whiskey is fun bc you can understand the words.
And Lawd add some funk to your Mardi Gras Music! You need Bo Dollis & Wild Magnolias and the Meters. Handa Wanda by Bo Dollis is the best. MG is never over. All the big chiefs will be gathering for a costume war on March 20.

Don't forget George Clinton "Flashlight"!

Dude, you're bad ass. Just saying. I ran 3.75 today and was tired lol. You're a great motivation for me! Keep up the good work.

I don't know why but Joan Jett's music really pumps me up =)
