Turkish Peasant

I’ve been searching for a blouse like this in the thrift stores, but have come up empty handed. I’ve borrowed this version from my friend, Colette. I believe it’s a souvenir from somewhere in Eastern Europe. I’m wearing it for all of my 2,550 friends in Turkey, who inexplicably visited my blog on August 3rd.

Blouse, borrowed. Skirt, Talbot’s (thrifted). Bag, D&G (knock-off and thrifted). Shoes, thrifted. Earrings, Aldo. Cuff, Target.

I thought they were checking out my Gypsy Woman post, but that didn’t go up until a few days later.

People of Turkey, welcome to my blog (and my new lenses*)

OMG loving the colour combination - the red and blue work so well on your top. And the bag is devine - love the studs and the tassel. I have similar hair colour to you, think I might try wearing blue and red too...!

I'm loving the combination here; it feels like a wonderful mix between business chic (pencil skirt and medium heels) and Bohemian (the shirt), and the colours are wonderfully classic.
While they're not exactly similar, I know the forever 21 is selling some flow-y embroidered shirts; if you've got time you might want to check them out.

Feminine and charmingly ethnic (I hope that didn't sound un-PC; I meant it in a good way!.)

So cute. I am a superfan of a blue/red combo. Wonderwoman really knew what she was doing!
