Under the Bypass

I took these pictures under I-80, at one end of the Yolo Bypass. It was surprisingly windy under there, but also surprisingly quiet. The sounds of the freeway were obnoxiously loud as I approached the bypass, but deadened underneath. That’s a well-built bypass.

Jacket, H&M (thrifted). Shirt, Wet Seal. Belt, Express. Skirt, Parson’s Place (thrifted and shortened). Tights, We Love Colors. Booties, Style & Co. Earrings, Claire’s. Sunglasses, Target. Necklace, Stella and Dot. Rings, Black Hills Gold, vintage, and Raffia & Bossa.

It was also (un)surprisingly muddy under there. I’m afraid I tracked that stinky, sticky muck into my next customer.

Your location brings back a memory: one winter we drove over that bypass, and that water behind you was lapping at the guard rail. Shortly there after the causeway was closed! I also I'm loving your hair

Quick! How many "YOLO" jokes can you come up with?
