you have so many beautiful items in your wardrobe that you don't really need to keep this one - I say let it go.
I really like the skirt, however I see why you are questioning it. Is there a way you can shorten it? Would it look wierd if you paired it with a big chunky belt? If that were in collection I'd have a hard time getting rid of it--just looks like it has a lot of potential!

Nope, not a keeper. The cons outweigh the pros, and you don't need to waste closet space on something that doesn't work for you.
i vote to keep it, only if you can shorten it. like a previous commenter said, you have plenty of clothes, so no need to keep something that isnt just right. but, at the same time, if you can MAKE it just right, no need to get rid of it!
Having seen you in more tailored skirts I say nope, next skirt please! Doesn't show you off as well as it should,

I like the skirt, but I think you could have the fit adjusted. It looks like it could be narrower and shorter.
I think it's time to let this one go.
It *looks* too big. I love the skirt, if it were your size it would probably kick a$$. I don't think shortening it would fix the problem. If those buttons are functional and you can actually take the skirt in an inch or two, and you feel like putting that effort it, then it might be a keeper. It *is* a really cute piece.

Nah, it's a little on the rigid, boxy side and doesn't really do much for you. There are far better skirts out there. Time for it to go!
I vote that you keep it and rather than shorten it - that you should wear it higher than your waist and have it taken in at the top. That would fix a lot of the ill-fitting nature problem that just shortening would not.
as is, it is a bit long and sort of widens your hip- not flattering. Alter or discard.
If you really love it work with it to make it work. But, I don't think it's super flattering on you.

Something to try before you chop into it if you decide to make it shorter(and this may not work at all) is to button it into pleats - button all the buttons but skip every second buttonhole so you get a fold of fabric at each button. It makes an asymmetric effect. Clear as mud?? (I voted get rid of it, but maybe you can do something amazing with it.)
I like it in theory, but it seems to be making you look wide-ish and frumpy-ish, and you are neither of those things! Let it go, unless you're willing to invest in a total remake of it.
I think some simple alterations would make it better--its a bit big so maybe taking in the side seams a tad--if you really LOVE it.

Like everyone else, I say alter it or let it go. I do think you've got lots of skirts already and it's so hard for us tall girls to find skirts that aren't obscenely short-- so let it find its 5'10'' soulmate!
You have a fab figure, but this doesn't do much for it- the problem is with the fabulous pocket. The skirt appears to be nipped in at the waist (good!) but carries too much fabric around the hips (not so good). It creates an illusion of bulk that we know doesn't exist. Shortening the length may counteract the problem. But it's up to you- the are worse things in life!
I like it by itself (the buttons are super cute) but it has a width issue. Doesn't flatter nearly as much as it could!

It's got great, unusual details but it looks 1 size too big on you. I'd only say keep it if you think you fluctuate in sizes AND are willing to use up closet space for that purpose.
Wow, I am surprised you are questioning it, and even more surprised by this poll! I *love* the skirt, just as it is. Shortening it may work, and probably make it more versatile, but I like the longer cut as a change.
I certainly think it is too good to ditch altogether.
I voted to get rid of it but if the option had been there, I would have said to alter it. It is such a great neutral and the lengthening line of buttons is a great detail. Shortened and shaped into a tighter pencil skirt would look fabulous.

a great go-to skirt for leggings and denim or a thow-on with a tee .

it may be the setting--the stone steps and everything, but it seems very Italian or French New Wave cinema. [even more so if they were b&w photos, of course:]
