Corporate Stud

Jacket, Breakin’ Loose. Sweater, Body Central. Blouse, Worthington. Skirt, Tulle. Fishnet stockings, Simply Vera by Vera Wang. Studded pumps, Oh Deer! Bracelet, Bitten. Bag (pictured below), Tommy Hilfiger.

I’ve been on the hunt for navy dress shoes for ages. It seems like everything I found was horribly matronly. The studs and tall, spiky heel saved this pair from Boringville. Conversely, the navy color keeps the studs and height from being too sexy for the office.

I LOVE the skirt. I own very few pairs of heels because I have to wear sensible shoes in my line of work, but your shoes always make me wish I could wear heels more often.

LOVE the shoes! Great corporate outfit. That skirt is great.

allison - I'm afraid these shoes are NOT comfortable. They are definitely sitting-down shoes - but that's mostly what I do.

Amazing shoes! Prim and proper they are not, and that is a GOOD thing.

Dang, the fishnets, tulle hemline and studded heels are drop dead sexy. Nicely done!

I LOVE your shoes!!! You know, in my head, "studs, fishnets and plaid" sounds awful but this outfit is really nice!

I love your shoes! I can't believe that they are not comfortable. The Oh Deer heels I own are ultra-comfortable.

Hi, I'm new here! I love these shoes but they're too sexy for a junior high teacher at a Catholic school & I have plenty of "night out" shoes. I have a pair of Oh Deer pumps and they're soooo uncomfortable I only wear them when I know I can have a few cocktails to numb the pain. Order 1/2 size up in this brand! PS ~ I love your bangs... I'm printing some pix of you to take to my hairdresser tomorrow!

Actually I was looking at it one more time this morning and there is one thing I'm not lovin'... are those jacket sleeves rolled? I think you should officially crop and hem those sleeves, wear them long, or leave the rolled look for a retro-80s weekend outfit.

Kasmira said...

EJ - they are rolled. I usually roll them. I'm not sure if I'm ready to take the plunge and permanently shorten them, yet.

Corporate stud indeed! Those shoes are amazingly fabulous!

Those shoes are totally fierce! The Oh Deers I have aren't comfortable either which is too bad because they make some really cute shoes!

Those shoes seriously rock.

Uh-oh, I may have to steal those shoes....

LOVE the skirt. Love the shoes too, but I'm on my feet too much to wear anything even mildly uncomfortable. Did you add the tulle to the skirt or did it come that way? You're giving me ideas on how to embellish!

Londyn said...

Can I ask where you get your Oh Dear! shoes? I've see them online, but are always around $100-$200.....

Candice DeVille said...

Yes, that skirt is GENIUS! And the shoes are perfection. There are so many great brands we miss out on here. And with out dollar at the mo, buying online isn't as attractive.

Kasmira said...

Londyn - I bought the shoes at Piperlime. They weren't cheap.

Londyn said...

Well they were worth whatever you spent on them - adorable!
