Very Springy! (That referred to both the season and the mood of this outfit). We have casual Friday too, but I started working flex time so that I'm now off on Fridays. While that's fun and all, it makes me sad I can no longer dress cas at work. And I work at a college in a department where I barely see any of my co-workers, let alone outside people. Tell me, does this sound fair to you?
Kasmira, What's going on with your move to DC? We haven't heard much about it lately. I lived there for 5 years and loved it, but not necessarily the most "fashionable" city...
hei, i love ur blog! i luv the color contrast and the way u mix and match..btw, do u have any tips to look chic for tropical country? help me..^_^ btw, hi from Singapore..
I don't know if I've ever commented, but I've been reading your blog for the past several weeks, and you've got such fun style. I'm wearing an outfit today similar to your color palette here: a yellow and gray striped tee with a fuschia cardigan. The colors look really nice together! I don't have any cool blue shoes though. :)
Hi Kasmira, I recently overdyed (as per your post) a salmony/pink blazer navy, but the resultant colour was not as intense as I would like it to be. Would you mind making any further suggestions?
Mervat - I'd recommend that you double the dye amount for a more intense look. If you mix black and blue dye, you'll get an even darker color.
Also, if the jacket had never been washed before, it might have had starch in the fabric which coats the fibers and makes it difficult for the dye to penetrate.
I'm not a dyeing expert...you might try looking through some DIY forums to see if you can find someone with more dye experience than myself.

Love all that sweater with the blue boots. Nice infusion of pop colors! I'm ready to move away from these dark colors I've been wearing and get ready for Spring.
Thanks Kasmira. I will go ahead and overdye it the two colours as you suggested. I think you were absolutely right about overdying an unwashed piece of clothing. I had only worn it a couple of times before I realised the colour was just wrong, proceeding to colour before washing. Thanks again!

Love, love the bright pops of color! It may be "cas", but it is still super cute!

That yellow is very cheerful. Especially combined with blue.
Wonderful outfit! I love your pink necklace! And it looks great against the soft grey of the top. Have a great weekend! -S.
