Time Away

We’ve been spending every possible moment with Jasper: training, treating, feeding, supervising, cuddling, playing, etc. It is wearing us out. We took a much needed puppy-break during his afternoon nap, today. When we got home, he was cuter than ever.

With my short red hair and crazy floral mishmash, I was told I resembled an ‘80s Molly Ringwald character.

Like a Lion

We’ve had some windy, cool, March-y weather here of late. While the breeze and peek-a-boo sun make for some dynamic photos, I’m ready for lamb weather.

Beware of Dog

This sign is actually on our neighbor’s gate. I’ve never seen the ferocious canine, but I’m not surprised a dog lives there. Everyone in California has a dog. Now, we fit in.

Bright Monday

It’s Monday, so I busted out the royal purple, emerald green, and true blue. With accents of hot coral and neon yellow. (I didn’t realize the neon yellow bra was quite so visible. Thankfully, I was cold most of the day and clutched the jacket closed.)

Life Changer

Once, again, my world is rocked: I got a haircut. (Oh, yeah, and we got a puppy too.) A lot of change for a Friday.

And to answer your questions: He’s a border collie. We chose the breed because I want a running and hiking companion. We chose a herding dog and a puppy to minimize problems with the cats. Jasper and the cats are getting along far better than I would ever have imagined. He is very smart and has not eliminated indoors (yet)!
