Here’s a photo of something I actually wore in the 70’s (1976 or 1977). My mom picked it out.
*Yes, I know some of you weren’t even born in the late 70’s. Hush, I don’t want to hear it.

Love the bright colors for a gray Ohio day.
You were super cute and oh so fashionable even as a baby.
woah! That skirt is amazing!
Look at that skirt! Wow! I hope you restyle it soon. Something that vivid MUST be worn during the drab winter months.
I would love to hear more about how you developed your style over the years. I remember in a recent post, you said that you were sort of an anti-consumerist hippie (or something like that).
How did you go from t-shirt and shorts at the Michigan beach to vivid, eclectic you?
I heart late '70s looks.
Awesome look - I love the hot pink with it.
Yeah, it does remind me of the late 70s. I wore a lot of really bright colours together, although of course, I was a child also (*cough* albeit an older child than you *cough*).
The skirt is TOO cool!! and u look adorable in that baby pic!

Love the bright colors of the outfit! Paired with the black it makes a perfect Fall/Winter outfit. I have some very similar shots from that 70's timeframe. Except, there's three of us ... my mom used to make the same outfits for my older sisters and me. Looking back at them now, they were very cute!
It looks so cheerful! I love it!
Still drooling over that amazing skirt ...
Fantastic! Love the colors. BTW, I was in the 4th grade in '76... and I don't consider myself old - so you certainly shouldn't!
I used to have that Payless purse! I loved it, carried it every day. It ripped :(
i'm a late 70s baby myself. i have pics of horrible decor and some sort of plaid-decorated dress not unlike this here. although plaid is great. just perhaps not when applied as a religion. this is gorgeous; lucky you to have such a fabulous piece as this skirt in your collection! i don't normally necessarily go in for big designers but it's really so unique and clearly beautifully-constructed. yay.
love the skirt ... don't really like the pattern on the belt with it, tho ... but luv, luv, luv your style!
I had a lime green leisure suit for kindergarten in the mid-70s. No, I'm not sharing pictures.
Only you, Kasmira, would get away with wearing a skirt like this. You look fab!
Love the belt- it really looks like an Obi!
