Classic

Red silk sweater, Moda International. White blouse, Merona. White cami, NY & Co. Tan skirt, Talbot’s (thrifted). Tan belt, thrifted. Khaki/cream peep-toes, Mossimo. Fake Versace bag, Phai’s House of Jade auction. Fake Gucci sunglasses, street vendor in Seoul, Korea. Leaf necklace, Urban Outfitter’s.

This bag continues to freak me out with the creepy little Versace face. Why does he have no eyeballs?

Today was a multiple compliment day. I think the classic combination of camel, red, and white grabs one’s attention.

Today you get to see the magic of outdoor vs indoor photos. The colors are far cripser outside, but I don’t need to wear my sunglasses inside.

Hi.

So, I'm fairly new to Cincinnati and I've noticed in a lot of your outfits you list items as "thrifted" and I was wondering if you could recommend any thrift stores in the area. The only ones I've been able to find have been Goodwill's (and they tend to be a little pricey around here!).

Thanks,
Jessi

Jessi - these are the thrift stores I frequent. I prefer not to go far from my home in College Hill.

St. Vincent de Paul (on Colerain) Village Thrift (not sure on the name)(on Pippin)
Valley Thrift (on Reading)
Goodwill (Hyde Park/OBryonsville)

Fanastic!! Beautiful look Kasmira, I love it when you dress like this!!

Great outfit - you make Red & Khaki rock (without looking like you work at Target!).

great outfit, but I hate the shoes. they are too light and should be closer in value to your skirt. You have a great pair of sling backs in that color that would have been more appropriate. these are casual shoes, and the outfit is dressy.

Really? I think the shoes are okay. I love reading your blog and getting ideas for outfits, you're very creative with layering.

Thanks!

This one's a winner! Actually, I like the shoes because they have two tones that pick up on the white shirt over khaki. I also like how you put brown and gold in the mix. I would have just done black and silver, but mine would have been boring.

Uh, anonymous? If you want to actually read you might notice the part about the colors looking different outside versus inside? Those are not white hose. If you only want to look at pictures I could suggest some fun picture books.
