Thin Ice

Signs like these are just suggestions, right? Well, I had my galoshes on, and the water didn’t look deep, so I ventured out onto the ice.

Jacket, Wilson’s Leather. Striped cardigan, Old Navy. Turtleneck, Mossimo. Skirt, Chaus Sport (thrifted). Galoshes, TJ Maxx. Bag, Tommy Hilfiger. Necklace, Target.

After slipping and sliding at the edge for a bit, I retreated to land for a few detail photos.

Girlll it's WINTER. In Ohio, nonetheless! I can't believe you're bare-legged!!! Or maybe you're tricky and you're wearing some sort of tights under it?

Slippin and slidin! Woo!

I went out the other day sans-tights. Sometimes my legs just feel suffocated wearing tights all the time. Glad to see someone else out there is going without tights during winter on some days!

Love that skirt on you with the unexpected frills.

Great blog you've got - I love your unique sense of style.

I love how you risk life and limb and potential drowning to give us the best fashion shots! Also, those boots are killer - I need a pair of galoshes for spring I think.

Is that "W" with your hands the universal sign for "Whatever"? That's hilarious!

Christina - it was actually a warm-ish day. And I took these pics after a rehearsal in a hot room. The cold air felt good.

Jamie Michelle - yup, "whatever!"

Morgan - yes, the pics were taken in Rapid Run Park. I took pics there once before: http://whatiwore2day.blogspot.com/2009/10/double-double.html
