Relieved

I nearly dressed in all black (save the dark denim) today. I’ve done all black only twice before on this blog (Black Black and Mourning) and I don’t make a habit of it.

Tank, Kimchi and Blue. Sweater, Charlotte Russe. Jeans, Express (overdyed). Heels, BCBGeneration. Cuff, Pangaea.

The cuff was a recent purchase at Pangaea. It is covered in a layer of owl-printed washi paper, protected by a hard, shiny resin finish. My camera battery ran down before I could get a close up of the bracelet, so I scanned the sucker!

I hope you can see the cute little owls, despite the glare.

I was saved from all black by colorful owls and red peep-toes.

Sometimes it's nice to take a break from colour and do all-black.

I love that cuff - so cute!

Oh, I love how the flowered neckline of the tank stands out and gives a really cool dimension to the outfit. Love the red heels too! I wish I could wear black...but having a demanding and overly affectionate white cat just doesn't work well with a dark color palette.

This is actually one of my favorite outfits you've posted. I LOVE the bracelet. But one question--are you wearing stocking or something under the peep toes?

That bracelet is freaking amazing. I think it's just the thing for that black outfit. You look great in black with your blonde hair!

grace - I am wearing very sheer trouser socks. I think bare toes just look funny in the winter, and I like the look of stockings with peeptoes.

That cute neckline adds a lot of interest.

I really like the bangle. I may have to try and find one for myself. I've never heard of the store where you purchased it.

That is so cool the way you paired the tank with the sweater, the black goes together really well. Sometimes it's hard to layer two separate pieces that are both black, but these seriously blend perfectly! Love the owl cuff of course ^_^

Those owls are precious.

Now that you mention it, it's true you are more of a color person instead of all black... that is probably one of the reasons you stand out so positively ... love that cuff!
