Billow

This is an unusual silhouette for me, but a comfortable one for a hot and humid day. On Mondays I do a fair bit of walking around downtown and this outfit allows for maximum breezes, without totally sacrificing shape.

Blouse, Mushka by Sienna Rose. Vest (I call it the “boobcoat”), Charlotte Russe. Pants, Focus 2000 (thrifted). Shoes, Charles David (c/o Solestruck). Bangles, The Bead Factory and Claire’s. Earrings, import store.

My workplace turns off the climate control over the weekend, so Mondays can be a bit muggy inside the office, too. It’s really the only day of the week I can comfortably bare my arms indoors.

Oooooh this silhouette is unexpected and lovely! Totally inspiring me... And I totally want a boobcoat of my own now. Cropped vests are where it's AT!

This is a fun combination - the silhouette is flattering and you look cool and comfortable. :)

I can't help but think of Cinderella. I don't know why. I can see that it's not a Cinderella costume. I think it's your pose and smile on the first image.

Maria - maybe it's the Cinderella hair? I should have added a headband and gloves. :)
