Splash

Beefy had to restrain me from shucking my shoes, hiking up my skirt, and splashing in the fountain. He’s afraid I’d land in jail. I think the worst that would happen is security would ask us to leave. What do you think? Jail time or just temporary banishment?

What's the name of the fountain in downtown Cincinnati you CAN play in? I used to go there as a kid and I LOVED IT. But I can't remember the name...

The Tyler Davidson Fountain in Fountain Square? I've never seen anyone in the fountain, proper. But I have seen children in the little "bowls" of water at each corner.

Jail time for a bum, a gentle warning for a cute girl like you!

There used to be a fountain at Sawyer Point that you could play in...I'm pretty sure it's still there.

I love, love, love, love, looovvve your shoes! Where did you get them?

That fountain is still there and open in the summer. They remodeled it, though. Now it's just a splash park. No standing water.

I bought them at Macys. Last pair my store had in June!

The fountain at One Lytle Place in Sawyer Point is probably the one you're thinking of The Cheap Chick...

When I was a kid it was awesome. there were some small pools in the fountain where you could even swim a little, and places where water cascaded down big steps.

Unfortunately, as Kasmira said, it's just a splashing kind of thing now, but still the only long-time "fountain" in the city where they encourage you to get in.

I used to think it was the coolest thing ever. And let's face it, a fountain you are encouraged to go into, not stay out of? That IS the coolest thing ever!

Thanks Kasmira and Beefy!
