Silk and Polyester

I think the merits of wearing silk in the summer are nullified when worn with a polyester slip. I won’t do that again!

Blouse, FY2 (thrifted). Skirt, Thailand. Shoes, Two Lips. Sunglasses, Target. Earrings, Claire’s. Bag, Imoshion.

I really hate it when silk items are LINED with polyester. That makes no sense. And, yes, I’m wearing dress constructed exactly that way tomorrow. Because I never learn.

This is one of my favorite ways you've worn that skirt. You can't go wrong with leopard and red!

Look at your hair!! It's so bold and bright. Really fun :)

Polyester lined silk is the dumbest idea anyone ever had. I went on a twenty minute rant yesterday about it.

Doesn't stop me from wearing it either...

Look at you looking all runway today with your mod hairstyle! I too think this is my favorite styling of this skirt (but I might've said that last time).

Regardless of comfort, at least it looks awesome.

Is silk comfy in the summer? It just seems that sweat would show.

Silk is nice because it breathes, like cotton. I don't think sweat shows more than any other lightweight fabric. (And patterns always help camouflage sweat!)
