BB&B: Spring

Yellow sweater, Moda International. Orange tee, Merona. Black belt, Steve Madden. Khaki skirt, Talbot’s (thrifted). Turquoise peep-toe pumps, Wild Diva. Scarf, Xhilaration.

It was a beautiful spring day today. Perfect for peep toe shoes and long, lunchtime runs (but not in said shoes). I ran eight miles and crossed the Ohio river eight times. I’m ready to double that mileage on Sat.

Aside from the run, I worked an 11-hour day today and missed the evening light. I’m afraid it will be indoor photos for the rest of the week. I won’t see my house in the daylight until Saturday.

A goofy photo, because I’m a goofball:

I love this outfit! So bright and cheerful, I wore a yellow/ white and green outfit yesterday and it just changed my mood- put a spring in my step. Granted I live in Florida so I am not "ready for the Spring" fever (actually I am still waiting for Fall! I want seasons!)- but my outfit did feel very Spring like. Your outfits inspire me to play more with color! Thanks Kasmira!

I *love* those blue pumps, especially in this outfit. Hope your work week goes by fast, and wow, I am so impressed by your running. How long does it take you to run 8 miles?

Have a good day,

L

I run about 9:30 miles. When I go out for a run, I run 10 minutes for every mile and figure I'm sure to make my total mileage and then some. So, to answer your question, I ran for 1:20 yesterday.

I really love this outfit too, especially the pumps. Today I wore a bright blue shirt peeking through a green shirt. I wish i had a scarf or something to tie them together! Either way, I felt spring-y.

Darn it! Your scarf reminded me that I forgot to look for a cute scarf at the thrift store today. Pooh. Love the scarf with the cute blue peeps; it just POPS!

Um, that last one was me and not my husband Quinn. He could care less about your scarf. ;)

You ran for an hour and a half in the cold, snowy weather??? How do you manage that, woman?! Hopefully I will be able to do that some time soon. (Well, not in the cold weather. I am waiting just a few more weeks for it to warm up again.

I am in awe : )...

Thanks for answering.

I am in awe that you can go back to work after running for an hour and twenty minutes and not be a complete sweaty greasemonkey! I LOVE today's outfit. You look smashing! The colors really go well together and you just look so classy.
