Watercolor on Houndstooth

I loved the contrasts in this outfit. Chiffon balanced by wool. Abstract florals vs crisp geometric patterns. Stark black and white against soft gray and vibrant purple. Long and loose over short and structured.

Cardigan, To The Max. Tank, Mushka by Sienna Rose. Skirt, Express (thrifted). Tights, We Love Colors. Boots, Rampage. Bag, Vieta. Belt worn as a necklace (thrifted). Ring, Raffia and Bossa.

I like the picture with the vigilant kitty looking outside. :)

I love the purple and yellow in this outfit, contrasted with the starkness of the black and white. Lovely!

Beautiful. Like you say, it's the contrasts that make it. I would never have thought to put these items together but they look amazing! :)

Oh, my! SO much going on here, but you're right, it all works beautifully. This is how I imagine the love child of Aubrey Beardsley and M.C. Escher would dress for a hot date with Andy Warhol.

That bag is the perfect piece to tie the sheer blouse in with the houndstooth skirt.
