Chop Chop

Next time you see this jacket, it won’t have sleeves. I thrifted it with the intention of turning it into a vest, but I thought I’d wear it just once before the chop.

Jacket, I Z Byer (thrifted). Dress, vintage, thrifted, and shortened. Shoes, Wet Seal. Bag, Mondani. Scarf, Old Navy. Bracelet, vintage.

It’s okay as a jacket, but it will be awesome as a vest. I’m not a fan of these little cap sleeves. They aren’t flattering or particularly comfortable.

However, I love the asymmetric collar detail

Completely agree - LOVE the neckline detail! It will have a nice steampunk vibe as a vest.

By the way, holy smokes, I thought I was at the wrong site! You've switched from your black background! I like the change, but the black was kind of your trademark. However, change is good.

Looking great, as always, Kasmira! Have an awesome weekend.

The black seemed a little dated. I like how clean the white is. And I hear it's easier to read dark text on a white background than white on black. I must say, I DID like how pictures popped on the black!

I like the change too. the jacket to vest great idea. You look more elegant today like the dress.

Like the new site switch up! I am all the time chopping sleeves and hems. More of my closet has probably been altered than not. I think the little jacket will make an awesome vest.
